Akoko Nan Bead
Akoko Nan means "the hen´s feet". It refers to the Akan proverb "when the hen treads on her young ones, it does not mean to kill them". In other words, when sometimes parents are tough on their children, it is not with the intention to harm them. This symbol represents parenthood, careness, parental education, patience.
