The Nkathehono symbol is the adinkra symbol for ressourcefulness, continuous growth and prosperity.
The symbol represents peanuts shells. For the Akan, peanuts are an important agricultural good as it reproduces itself naturally without the need of being replanted. The harvest is also very abundant.
